Professor Dolohov and Auror Desai deserve quite a load of thanks for organising this year's trip. I say, it was quite educational, challenging and I'm sure applicable to many situations one might find oneself facing at some time or other. It was also a valuable opportunity to interact with one's classmates in ways we'd not before had the chance.
Congratulations, again, to all of us, as well, for meeting each challenge with perseverance and ingenuity, what!
As there's only a week before we go to Hogwarts, Mrs Jugson has plans to take us to Diagon Alley for our supplies. I'm not yet sure whether that shall be Tuesday or Wednesday. (I've asked if we might stay at home tomorrow! I say, I was having trouble staying awake at the supper table and I suspect I might sleep all day tomorrow if given the chance!)
Ron, old man, I did see your invitation about flying but as you know, that shan't be possible. I'm well sorry to miss it - and Tea Appreciation on Wednesday, Harry. On the other hand, once I've got my books for the term I look forward to glancing through them to see what's in store for our N.E.W.T.s.
See you all in a week, what?

Order Only
Aug. 6th, 2013 10:36 amGood morning,
I say, terribly sorry to have worried everyone. I'll be all right.
I'm back at the Jugsons' and Harry, I apologise but I shan't be able to go flying on Friday. Or any other Friday this summer, I'm afraid. Nor Tea Appreciation, what.
But everything's really, quite fine, apart from that.

Private Message to Mr and Mrs Ponds
Jul. 10th, 2013 10:34 amMr and Mrs Ponds,
I hope we shan't be intruding on you this afternoon, for tea?
We're quite looking forward to the gathering. The parties are quite jolly, what, and today's ought to be particularly fine.
I wanted to check and make sure the additional arrangements are all in hand. Please do let me know if you need anything more to be ready. I think most of the participants shall arrive about half-three, if that's all right.
Thank you again and I do hope it stays a surprise.
See you soon,
-Justin Finch-Fletchley

Order Only: Tea Appreciation
Jun. 26th, 2013 04:56 pmHullo, all,
Thanks for hosting us yesterday.
I say, it was well useful to go back over our notes from rescuing Sarah.
And I'm especially glad we all had the chance to discover what was happening to Hydra, what! Perhaps I ought to explain.
Everyone in the Institute knows that since she got home, Hydra's been rather unavailable. She made a post that she couldn't talk to any of us because she was 'storming the castle'--none of us were sure what that meant. But then Harry went to see her at my request and found her playing nearly non-stop with her younger brother. Today I came to visit and convinced her to come with me to tea.
I say, nearly as soon as we got away from St James' Palace, she was altogether different. She rather...came back to herself, one might say. She realised she'd been...influenced, I suppose. Rather like the way she remembered being possessed by that bally awful diary. It's as if Rigel has the ability to make people do as he wishes. Not exactly like an Imperius curse, what, but more like...a desire to please him, if you follow me. Of course, that brought several other things about him into perspective. Like his nanny and why she can't bear to be apart from him, what.
Unfortunately it makes him rather a handful when one doesn't respond to him. But one can resist if one tries. I'm sure we'll be careful of Rigel in future.
Hydra, have you thought about telling your father? Someone ought to know who has the authority to curb his tendencies.
Oh, before I forget: Harry, when do you think you'll organise the first flying party? I'm not much of a flyer but Ron had something of the same idea. I think if Ron said he's hosting distance flight on Fridays, you might be able to tell your minders that you're with him, what? It might be a clever idea to become more comfortable on a broom.
I shall have to find excuses for Remy and Alfie not to come along, if we're going to do what you suggested.

Tea Appreciation
Apr. 11th, 2013 10:05 pmHullo, all,
I'm delighted to announce that Tea Appreciation will convene at Laszlo's of London tomorrow at half-four. It should be a lovely, relaxing way to spend the final afternoon of our holidays.
Speaking of holidays, I hope those of us who have been focused on our studies have had a little time to regroup and recuperate before returning to school, what. For myself, when I wasn't revising with Weasley or Bones, I had a smashing time visiting the MacMillans and flying with my fellow Hufflepuffs. Remy, Alfie and I also managed to take in a few rambles through the Protector's Park. I say, I'm especially looking forward to this weekend's joyous occasion, Moon, and to seeing my mates from Ravenclaw again.
I think I may say quite honestly that, hours of revising aside, it's been a jolly good holiday.

Hullo, love,
Are you all right? What did she want?
I say, I do hope we shall really be able to meet at your cousin's. And perhaps you can visit Remy as well.
I bally well am looking forward to getting out of the castle for a few days but there is a downside, what? We shan't see each other every day. Or be able to sit together in your secret stairwell most evenings.
On the other hand...there are advantages. For example, a private bedroom with a locking door.

Hullo, all,
Easter holidays are almost here! I'd been looking forward to a relaxing fortnight, what, but it seems I shall have to change my plans.
Mrs Weasley, thank you very much for your offer to host extra revising at your home. I say, it's dashed generous of you and we shall certainly be a more jolly group if we're all revising together. I had just been about to write to Mr and Mrs Jugson about whether there might be any provision for tutoring and now that doesn't seem it shall be necessary.
Mrs MacMillan, thank you as well, for the offer to come and visit Ernie. I'm sure we shall have a splendid time. I say, it shall be a marvellous break from all the revising we'll be doing for O.W.L.s.
I've one more thank you to issue: Professor Dolohov, many thanks for the additional sessions last week and this. It's reassuring to think that we'll be better prepared than many of us feared might be the case.
I've also heard a rumour there might be a Tea Appreciation meeting over the holidays. If so, I hope I shall hear a confirmation before too long, what! (That is, Mr and Mrs Ponds, if you'd be willing to host it again.) Though I daresay there's little time for it, as the agenda has been developing.
Still, two weeks when one can have a tiny bit of a lie in--and no mandatory exercise sessions three times a week--seems like the lap of luxury. Although it must be said that those exercises are bally well paying off, for some of us more than others. I think we all look much more fit as a whole than we did at the start of term. It's rather remarkable how a sensible regimen of diet and exercise can change one's look--and one's outlook as well, what!

Happy new year!
I suppose you were both at Buckingham on Monday night? We were on the streets, though Mr Jugson did manage to clear a spot for the firework display.
I know I shall see you both this afternoon, but coming to tea reminded me: Hydra, weren't you going to arrange another Tea Appreciation at your cousin's shop? I say, we're running short of time if we're going to go.
(And I think we should all like to go, what? We could perhaps call using the Galleons so as to limit the size for her.)

Tea Appreciation
Jul. 25th, 2012 09:13 pmI say, that was jolly fun!
Mr and Mrs Ponds, thank you again for allowing our party on your premises. It was most kind of you to extend the offer to Miss Lestrange. Remy and I quite enjoyed ourselves. I hope we weren't too disruptive, what! Please allow me to compliment you again on how cosy and comfortable the place is. And you've well interesting stock, too: I was rather surprised to find Keemun tea on the shelves. I think Remy even found a birthday present for his brother.
Harry, it was good to see you again! Glad you could join us, old chap. I'm sorry so many of these bally old clubs meet at times when it's impossible for me to get to them. I've been working hard, though, to make sure that when I enter the fifth year with the rest of you that I can keep up properly.
Only two days before the CCF starts. Is anyone else excited?

Private Message to Dux
May. 3rd, 2012 02:15 pmHullo, you.
I've been thinking about the guest list for tea on Saturday. I say, do you think we ought to invite Marvolo? I'm not sure if Pansy plans to come or if she'll bring Malfoy along, though they'd be welcome. But it occurred to me that if Marvolo were to come, perhaps he could bring Hermione Granger as well. No one else I've invited would have the slightest objection to including her, what.
But perhaps the invitation would look better coming from you? I mean to say, you could send him a PM and your mother might see that you're socialising with him, if you follow me.
Thought it might do just as well if I sent it, from the point of view of certain other quarters. I'm not sure. What do you think?

I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good
May. 2nd, 2012 01:50 pmWhat, ho, all,
I say, it looks as if the weather's supposed to be fine at the weekend. About bally well time, what!
I received a parcel this morning. I don't suppose anyone else noticed. Well, I should say, that was rather the point, what? It was packaged with a shrinking charm, so it looked nothing like that great huge hamper Malfoy got last week! But that's what it was, nonetheless, though not quite as enormous. It expanded after I brought it up to the dormitories at lunchtime.
It was from Mr Rosier. 'Just a reminder of what we have to offer,' according to the card.
There are biscuits and crumpet, clotted cream, jams (not Stretton jam, Sally-Anne, what), goose liver and potted quail and all sorts of lovely things for a smashing tea, along with a tea service and pot. And cheese! There are four kinds, including Stilton which is simply the rarest cheese imaginable in France and it's well brilliant. And there's a tin of my favourite tea blend. I say, I've not a clue how he knew that it's my favourite but I jolly well doubt it's just luck.
I mean to say, I bally well doubt they're inclined to take 'No' for an answer, come to that.
But one can't send it back, what, that would offend, I'm sure.
So, shall we have a picnic on Saturday?
