Jun. 1st, 2014 04:54 pmRon,
I say, I think I may have found a listing we'll fancy. It's a shared bath but that's not too unlike the dormitories, what? And it's fully furnished. Best yet, it's available starting 15th June.
Shall I write to the landlord and inquire? There are two pictures in the listing if you'd like to see. We could go and look at it that first Sunday after we get home.

I say, how are you feeling this morning? Up to leaving the Hospital Wing?
The post has just arrived and there are a number of flat listings we ought to look over. If you'll not be in lessons today, shall I come up and visit you at lunchtime?
I think it's going to be brilliant, rooming together. If only you'd hear definitively from the Aurors, what!

Order Only: Private Message to Ron
Apr. 21st, 2014 03:49 pmRon,
I say, best wishes tomorrow on your retest! I'm sure you'll ace it this time round, what.
I stayed at Grimmauld again last night. Sirius and I talked more about my plans for the summer. I've written to Mr Pontner to confirm that I do want to go back to the Ministry and I've already informed the Jugsons I'll be moving out. I wanted to talk to Sirius about how he made arrangements when he was younger, what, although he pointed out that he got his first flat before he was even of age.
In any case, we talked about my living at Grimmauld most of the time but agreed I shall need an official address, and I was thinking.... What would you say to being flatmates?
I'll be able to pay most of the rent, what, out of my monthly allotment, so you'd only have your own expenses. And those might well be covered by the stipend. I thought, if you're serving with the Aurors, you shan't want to Floo or Apparate all the way to Ottery St Catchpole every day. Staying somewhere in New London would be loads more convenient, what. Besides, if I spend most of my evenings at Grimmauld, then you and Sally-Anne would have the run of the flat, if you follow me. I mean to say, she'll likely be staying with Pansy but you might want more privacy than either Pansy's or your mother's could afford.
And that way, the flat will be occupied most nights, in case anyone from the Ministry comes looking.
I say, you're not allergic to cats, are you? Only Hydra had Draco bring me our cat so her brother wouldn't claim him for his own, what, and he'll have to come along wherever I move. (I had him with me at Grimmauld last night. Ordinarily he helps me sleep, what, but last night I think he was bally well irritated that we'd introduced him to two new environments in a day. Unfortunately he expressed his displeasure by means of spraying one corner of my dresser, what! But that's not normal for him.)
Think about it, old man. If you decide you don't want to leave the Burrow, I say, that's perfectly understandable.
I'm off to Saltash again. I was there for a few hours this morning, came back to Moddey for lunch and I'll likely stay until supper, what, or even later if it's needed.

Order Only: Apparation
Apr. 18th, 2014 04:25 pmHello, all,
Ron, Harry, Draco and I went down to the Ministry today to test for our Apparation licences. I say, they were a bit taken aback that Draco and Harry were there, what, but they let them fill out the parchment and pay their application fees without any question.
Harry went first, then Draco, then they called me in and Ron went last of us.
We all passed but one and Ron plans to go back again on Tuesday. (I say, think nothing of it, old man, I quite agree it was bally well ridiculous of them. You've Apparated loads of times, what.)
Congratulations again, Harry and Draco, and Ron, Tuesday's sure to go perfectly.
Sirius, I'm expected with the Jugsons on Sunday but I ought to be able to come by after dinner. Around 7:00? Or is that too close to Bea's bedtime and I should wait?
Sally-Anne, if you want to know more about Professor Dolohov's house before you go, I say, I'm happy to tell. We never did get back to it after that last round of Snap.

Private Message to Ron Weasley
Dec. 31st, 2013 09:45 amHullo, Ron, old chap!
I say, how's it going on your end? I don't half think that no work at all gets done round here during these two weeks, what. Honestly, it's a wonder they bother with an internship at Christmas.
Mr Pontner does seem to know where all the good parties are, however. I say, if we go to many more I bally well shan't be able to fit my robes.
However, some of the lads are going for a pint after lunch today (we've been told we're released after 1:00. You?). Wonder if you'd fancy joining us, if you can break away.
It hasn't been all food and fun, of course. Only it does seem that way when we're forever popping off to another department to sit in on their meetings and Mrs So-and-so has baked and Mr So-and-so brought in a box of crackers and everyone seems quite content to stay merry right through Twelfth Night. Particularly with the official Ministry party being postponed. Oh, and I should say there's been quite the discussion about that, these past two weeks, what! One would think it's the event of the season the way they were going on. I'm sure it's lovely but how can it compare to anything Our Lord puts on during the season? Are you going to the fireworks tonight? Mr Pontner hopes they'll be visible in Belgium--he's had an ongoing debate with the Belgian minister regarding trade embargoes. (I've done a little translation for him, as well, via the Floo. I say, that was an education in itself!)
But truly, I have learned quite a bit and met all sorts of hard-working people.
They've asked if I'd come back at Easter hols. I can't imagine it's all baskets and colouring eggs, what--I hope very much it's a bit more serious. I'm sure it will be, for by then, Mr Harvey will have his project well underway and it might make more sense.
Must dash. Let me know if you're able to step out and I'll make sure you know where we're going, old man.

Hallo.
Did you get back all right? And give Harry back the cloak?
I.... I say. I hope you're not disappointed. I mean to say, I know it wasn't perfect.
Has.... Does it still hurt?
I'm not sorry we did, though, what. I just...hope you....
Well. I love you. I say, I hope that helps at least a little.

Hullo,
I say, this waiting round at rehearsals is bally well disorganised, what? I'm well glad I brought homework.
(It wasn't too bad, today. Dark Arts. I even managed to answer a question on paired spellcasting and amplified magical effects without stammering. Professor Dolohov plans one of his 'informal luncheons' at the end of the week. I was thinking perhaps next week I should go and see who else turns up.)
Sally-Anne's post reminds me: I was supposed to ask you about whether you'd like a failsafe, in case things go horribly wrong. She's making a series of rings and--well, it's not a very pleasant thought but she plans to fill them with poison. If activated, the rings will 'notify' everyone else that someone's ring has, er, done its job, if you follow me. I say, I think there's an option to receive a ring that will notify without any poison in it. Because we've been thinking about--well, about someone trying to question us, what. And since none of us are an Occlumens it's bally well unlikely we'd be able to keep all our secrets for very long. Well, I say, I was supposed to ask you if you'd like one. If you do, tell Sally-Anne. I think we're trying to keep it quiet in case the discussion upsets others.
You'll understand I didn't wish to ruin our other conversation with talk about that, what! I've been thinking about that, a little more. Where and how. Have you found out anything your end? From Pansy or anyone else? I do think the 9th will be the ideal time, when everyone else has gone to Hogsmeade. Do you suppose the Divination Tower might be private enough? It's supposedly quite cosy. Only neither of us take Divination so we've no reason to be there, if anyone should try to stop us heading up there.
Does everyone in Slytherin go to the village?

Good morning.
I love you. Did you sleep at all last night? I say, I think I finally dropped off round about two.
But I'm not sorry we stayed out late.
Are you? I mean to say, you don't...regret what happened? What you did?
Because I wasn't...I'd not have minded if you thought--think--it was a mistake. A lovely present, mind, but.... I mean to say, after your talk with your cousin, and the books and things, if you were feeling pressure, then, I well understand. I never want you to do anything you don't bally well want to do, what?
Well. I do love you. And not just because of last night.
-J
